Video 18 Oct 11 notes

In the lead up to Christmas (YES! Less than 10 weeks!), I thought I’d do some Christmas shopping guides/spotlights on favourite stores of mine - clothing and non-clothing!

I’m going to start with Sailor Mouth Soaps. I first discovered Sailor Mouth Soaps last Christmas, gave a heap of them away as gifts … and naughtily kept quite a few for myself as they were so lovely I couldn’t bring myself to part with them. I’ve been using them exclusively ever since.

They’re fun, look sweet wherever you put them (I divide my stashes between bathroom bench, bedside table, and linen cupboard), and the smell. OMG the smell. Opening a box of these soaps is the most amazing experience.

They lather up beautifully in the shower, and the scent lingers on your skin afterwards.

I’ve made a point of never repeating the same purchase (I want to try them all!), and so far my favourites have been the Exfoliating Raspberry Vanilla Sugar Soap, and the Chocolate Buttercream Oatmeal Facial Soap. The latter in particular has been a dream - I have extremely sensitive skin and I’m always wary of putting … well, pretty muchanything on my face. This soap bar smells glorious, feels all creamy and smooth on the skin, and best of all, it’s cleaning my skin without aggravating it. No redness! No bumps! No itching or stinging!

Best of all, Sailor Mouth Soaps are an ethical, Australian owned (and made!) small business. Shipping costs can be hard to estimate, so she always refunds you if she overcharges. Her soaps are 100% vegan, cruelty free, and she supports a range of animal protection charities.

In short, you really can’t go wrong!
