Trying to find inspirations for hair styles combined with sailor hats. Mine is a child-sized version of the hat in number three (top right corner), so I’m hoping to wear it … well similar to how she’s wearing it, but it’ll look more like a fascinator I suppose. I think I’m going to have to just take these pictures down to my hairdresser and see what she can do (if she can fit me in this short notice on a Saturday …). Unless any of you want to volunteer to help? PLEASE? I’LL PAY!

Meanwhile, to find these images, I hit up google images with ‘nautical pinups’. SOME OF THE FILTH I HAD TO WADE THROUGH. Plus I’m pretty sure half the images were taken uncredited, so I’ve tried to find where they were originally from where possible.
