First time wearing this PUG skirt, though it arrived over a month ago. It came with the Je T’Adore dress, and in my excitement over the dress, this got hung up, stuffed in the wardrobe, and promptly forgotten. I only remembered when I bought these leopard print flats and wondered what else I had in the wardrobe to wear them with other than red!
I went with PUG fan-advice and sized up with the skirt, so it’s an XXL. It’s definitely roomier than I’m used to with PUG clothes, and I find myself wondering if I could have gone with the XL. I’m also a bit iffy about this length on my body - when it comes to wiggle/pencil silhouettes on my body, I prefer on the knee rather than below (otherwise I end up feeling like a dumpling). I’ll probably send this up to Mum and ask her to hem it a touch higher.
General fit aside though, I’m liking it! The fabric is beautiful, it’s comfortable, and I’m looking forward to finding other ways to wear it with what’s in my wardrobe. I’ve got red cardigans, a few black shirts, and I’m wondering if I can get away with pairing this with mustard …?
Cardigan is from Glassons, brooch is BLBB, shoes are Diana Ferrari. I have a pair of plum suede platforms I’d like to wear with this outfit, but there’s no way I’m taking them out in this typically awful Melbourne weather!
