Accessories: Brooch and earrings are BLBB, the silver hair pins are Japanese kanzashi picked up when I was living in Japan, and are available pretty much any place you buy accessories or a kimono. I used to wear these every day when I was teaching, as the kids loved the sound of the little bells ringing.

Edit: Shoes! If there was ever a brand in them, they’ve long since rubbed off. They were from a $10 budget bin outside a ‘senior’ shoe shop on Pratt St, Moonee Ponds (Melbourne). The shoes are always either hideous or outrageous, and I suspect the line there is blurred. Today they had these black shoes with little straw + bead bundles that sort of made me think Tiki fun, but the sensible 1 inch block heels ruined them.
