Betty Le Bon Bon ... Always goes off with a Bang!

Dards and I, looking like the dorks we are. We’re just off the plane and my mother, sister and father were all waiting for us, and that face Dards is pulling is his ‘HOLY CRAP I’M SHY AND EXCITED AND THIS IS AWESOME!!!’ face. Christmas is the only time my whole family is together so it’s a pretty thrilling time for him (…for all of us!). I let my mum take this dress home with her last time she visited, so she had a handy guide for my measurements (this dress sits and hits in all the right places). She calls me tonight and we’re talking, and then there’s this brief lull in conversation, and then she says ‘I tried your dress on. It fit me perfectly.’ I’m like, ‘….’ Guys. I’m 5’6. My measurements are something like 38C, 33, 40. I’m 30 years old. My 4’10, 57 year old mother - whose measurements I don’t know off the top of my head but she’s a DD in the bust - tried on my cherry print PUG Heidi dress and it fit her perfectly. I told her I’m planning on buying the pink/grey colourway of the Heidi dress, and she asked me to let her know when I’m doing that, as she’ll put in an order for one too. WHAAAAAAAAT? I’m going to turn up to a social occasion and my mother is going to be wearing the same dress as me.
