Betty Le Bon Bon ... Always goes off with a Bang!

This is a full look at the dress I posted earlier in a ‘sneak peek’. It’s pretty close to what we’ll be looking at producing later in the year/early in the new year.

We’ll be changing the sleeves (hopefully to a tulip sleeve - we loved that suggestion so much, Tegan!), we’ll be raising the neckline slightly and probably including a dome to prevent gaping issues. While it looks okay in the photo, seconds before it was snapped I had to do the old boob joggle to pop the girls away, as the bodice tends to slip and reveal lots of bra/boob after an hour or so of wear.

We’ll also be making the skirt much, much fuller, and probably add a couple of inches to the length. I’m 5’6, and while I like this particular length on me, after speaking with some taller girlfriends we decided a longer skirt would probably be better.
